About the plant:
It is actually close relatives of chicory, artichoke and sunflowers. Endiva can be used in salads on its own or can substitute lettuce or spinach. This biennial is known to have a slightly bitter taste but is much milder than the Frisee type of Endiva. Leaves will be 10-12" with tight compact heads
